My warmest sympathy goes out to the Christie family. I hope that the man who had no regard for his life is found and brought to justice, and then hopefully the small town of Guadalupe will be alot safer and wont be tarnished with these ignorant people roaming the streets. Please know that not all Guadalupians are like this ignorant man or condone his actions in any shape or form.

F.Y.I. James Christie "Baby James" is not from Guadalupe. He was born in Santa Maria, lived here until he was about 11 or 12 and then moved to New Mexico with his family. He just recently moved back to Santa Maria to be closer to his family. Also please note family and friends will be having a benefit B.B.Q. and Carwash on August 23, 2008 9am to 5pm at 500 North Broadway. This has been a tremendous loss to the Christie Family, if your willing and able please come out and support them...Thank you...

to ysalde: In regards to your comment: Who are you to judge what should happen to the two men that are considered the suspects? Also who are you to say that someones life should be taken away just as the victims was? By you saying that, its just the same as you offering to take a life away as well. And by the way they are still considered innocent until proven guilty isnt that the way the legal system works, am i not correct? So unless you witnessed what actually happened, who are you to speak on it. By the way, what makes the victim so innocent did you happen to know him or his lifestyle personally or are you just commenting just because everyone makes him look that way? Im sure you dont know the reason as to why this happened, do you? As for his family of course even if he was or was not a good person that is how they will make him look now that he is gone. As for the two men involved, they too are also good, caring and loving men. So unless you know both sides of the story who are you to say what should or should not happen? Who are you to judge?

well this man was my teacher I would say best teacher I have ever had I would allways stay after school for extra help and he never tried doing anything but helping me learn I still have alot of respect for him oh and that guy jimmy was allways buggin him for rides and never wanted to leave the his class room he was 16 not 5 and looked for trouble.

This in-deed was a horrible event in the lives of his family and friends. I pray for his children and family, may you all find comfort in the Lord. To his mom, my heart goes out to you.
